Mercure Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu

The room was quiet, spacious and comfortable - good to have a lounge suite. All the things you expect of a Mercure. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff who did a great job

Since we were departing from Gare Lyon Part-Dieu, we wanted a hotel that was close to the station. This Mercure hotel is literally adjacent to Gare Part-Dieu. The station is directly behind the Mercure. The price was reasonable for the location in Lyon. There is a nearby Tram and bus stop which provides easy public transportation into central Lyon or Vieux Lyon. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is merely 2-3 minutes walk from train station as it is attached to it. I was surprised with such spacious room. It is good for 4 person in fact. I loved the fact that there they separated the toilet bowl from shower area. Bed is comfortable with charging pots on both sides of the bed. Despite facing train tracks, it wasnt noisy at all. Had good sleep on both nights. Around 8-10 minutes walk to shopping mall filled with shops and restaurants.

This was a great choice near the main train station and a very easy connection from the airport. This area has good easy metro connections with the rest of Lyon. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of foods. The staff were friendly, helpful, and fluent in English.

Hotel is very nice and luxurious, even better than most Mercures I've stayed, food is really good (breakfast and dinner), there is underground parking (paid) and good access to public transportation.
